I saw most of it, but was sort of doing other things at the same time - not ideal, but unavoidable. It's a piece that always seems to come up fresh. I liked Sally Matthews better than I do sometimes (usually too much vibrato for my taste), and I think Ian Bostridge has improved a lot recently - much less self-conscious, affected, whatever you like to call his mannerisms.
