But you must tell us more about the pictures before we move on, Martle! Are they for real? I've been trying to recreate one of them but with no success. (No, I'm not going to reveal which one.)

Gosh George, well, as I remember, I was just having a quiet drink with Mr Google, you know, a bit of boy chat and everything, and he started doing things with his arms and then people started shouting and laughing outside in the street, and then, somehow, well... things got a bit fuzzy after that.  Cheesy

Here's a new couple.  This time composer's surnames and one of their works.  I won't give you the number of letters yet, just to add a little more spice!

1.    Month we hear an east European put his son in a note.
2.    E flat first encountered by an Indian housemaid - violins initially bringing up the rear.

I'm glad I got my couple of right answers (were they though? Was 'treble' right?) in at the beginning because I can see here's where it all gets too tricky for me...  Wink

Hmmm. I was going for Janacek Sinfonietta. But I can't make either quite fit the clue yet Sad  Cheesy

If anyone is after a 'quickie' this one is still around wagging its tail and hoping to be claimed.

Janacek is right - but not Intimate Letters.

Sorry George - didn't realise that was a clue.  (I thought you were just talking gibberish!).  Now is that G with an anagram of winersh.  How about GERSHWIN!

Gershwin indeed, Tommo. Gateshead = Head of 'Gate' = G sometimes causes distress among crossword aficionados as being a bit impure as a clue. I partly threw it in to see if it caused controversy.
