What is it? I don't have if in my dictionary. There is an opera Cochzer des Camcho (compic) and operetta Son and Stranger, Lorelei is unfisished. I don't know much.

It's incidental music Mendelssohn wrote for the play, as he did, more famously, for 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'.

t-p, IGI is right, not an oratorio. I was still thinking about Elijah which is in big letters on a post-it here, because I had that as my 7 letter word

I have an old 1980 Oxford Dictionary of music (The Concise) and it doesnot have this music at all.

Well if it's concise then it won't have Mendelssohn's Athalia Mind you, wikipedia, which is far from concise, also did not have it Did you notice Elijah has only six letters? I really am rubbish at these quizzes sometimes

Well if it's concise then it won't have Mendelssohn's AthaliaThe Oxford Companion to Music makes no mention of it either. I must admit, it's a new one for me.

They're all linked by a word in the title apart from the Wagner, for which a little digging is required (but will be quite obvious once you spot the other three)!
