"Antipope" John XXIII, elected 1410.  Smiley

BTW those who don't know much about the 'real' Pope John XXIII (quite a number, 23, incidentally - Berg's fate number among other things...) might like to take this opportunity to read up.

Baz, what a pleasant surprise to see a bit of Ciconia turning up here. Gives me an opportunity to say for the benefit of those who don't know that he's one of the most fascinating composers of any age. Shame he couldn't work out how to get the words properly under the notes though.

Daniel,
Thank you for posting this CD. I only heard about this composer, but don't know his music much.
I sould try to get it scores, but I don't think they will be available through my usual sources (Sheet music site).
May be he wrote some shorter pieces for piano or something for ensembles or violin (viola) sonatas.
