Today has been a "rest day". Hopefuly the thread doctor turned up at the garage and removed the broken stubs stuck in the engine block of one of the buses.

 Undecided

Now I'm worried. Yesterday one of our thoughtful, caring felines left us a dead squirrel in the garage.

Naturally, being the tidy (i.e. anal-retentive) soul I am, I picked it up and put it ... well let's just say I laid it to rest.

Today, my beloved, on hearing what I had done, expressed concern that it might have had rabies and I could be infected. Should I report to the Emergency Room at the hospital (American for Casualty) and tell them I was bitten by a dead squirrel?

 Undecided Undecided

Perhaps I should be more concerned about the mental health of my beloved  Huh

Kitty, Your beloved is as sick as my beloved. May be they are related.
As about your infection I think by now enough time has pass to say that you are clear of it.

tonybob,
May be you are bionic man or woman and this is why the ankle sounds like this. May be it is not from your ankle, but your uncle?
Now I am confused. I only know that my restless leg syndrom flared up. Where is the bucket?

So is mine Jonathan.  I've got it in both my thumbs and some of my fingers.  There is no cure but I've been taking one capsule of 1000 mg Glucosamine Sulphate every day for a while now after being recommended by a similarly afflicted friend and although it isn't cured, it has never got any worse either.

Some days it is more painful than others - it must be this damp weather I suppose.  Roll Eyes

Not 100% successful, but pretty helpful all the same: cider vinegar in hot water first thing in the morning. That and the Glucosamine Sulphate seem to be helping my knees quite a bit...

When in doubt, wash.

Do you drink it or bathe in it, Ron Dough?  Undecided

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

Thanks for those suggestions everyone, I already take Glucosamine, cod liver oil and Chondroitin but some days I have to rely on my tablets - nasty side effects causing NSAIDs.

I think I may have to take them tomorrow actually as the pain is geting to me.

Ron, I'll try the vinegar as well though - anything to stop it from hurting.

NSAIDs.

Sorry, Jonathan - what's that when it's at home? Whatever it is, I'm sure I've got it.  Sad
