It says they play instruments, but I guess you guys wouldn't really care!!! Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Now they have "marketing ploy" stamped all over them (albeit in invisible ink).

All I ask is whether their playing is anything like as distinctive and memorable as their image? I haven't heard them much, but think not (if it was, that might distract attention from their, er, essential assets).

At least one of them is holding an instrument. Is that a midi-cello? I looked at the picture very carefully.

               The Aviv Quartet.

At least they refused to put their instruments at risk in the photo shoot. That's what always worries me when players are asked to do funny things in fields with them.

Have we had Mr Photo Shoot himself yet?

I find the photos of quartets are the worse. I would not go to a quartet who jumps for no reason.
And I don't like quartet sitting in an office with their instruments.

Why can't people be themselves and just smile nicely. And by the way the girls in the quartet look like they are starving.
My experience lately tells me to stay away from promoted people and save my money.
I am not planning to go to too many concerts next year and will be more selective now who I go to listen to.

What quartet is this? I like them.
Our quartet here is making such faces and playing to the audience so much that it makes me sea sick (that is because they also move constantly for no reason too). The second violinst is at the habit of jumping forward (I think she has some technical problems and usually is seeing, but not heard).

Do you have any other calm quartets. Some times they can be dry quartets too. I don't like them too dry or too wet.
