Had an interesting workshop with them 10 years ago.
They started off threatening me with bodily violence but at the end, three of them were convinced that the ends justified the means.
In the middle of my string quartet which was almost entirely written in extended techniques, the 'cellist rather languidly announced 'well, you know that's always been my problem with sul ponticello: it's not really terribly musical, is it?'
