I have sometimes turned to CFM and enjoyed it briefly, when there's something worse on Radio 3 such as chat or 'world' music..

Remembering (sort of) that someone once said that "when the angels praise God, they play Bach. When they just want to boogie, they play Mozart", I wonder where Vivaldi's output features in their repertoire?

This afternoon they played the Concerto for 4 violins from L'estro Armonico. Just the first movement though Roll Eyes

CFM is usually tolerable after 9.00pm if you can blank out theJazz trails Autoglass Repair Autoglass Replace about once an hour which is probably less frequent than some beeb trailings.  Right now just finished Mozart's Mass In C Minor K.427 including Sarah Connolly which I enjoyed more than Artist Focus on 3 which was Belohlavek conducting Verdi.

Oh dear, more ads than normal tonightfor Churchill insurance and L'Oreal Paris. Get a can out of the fridge............

Linz Symphony now, with a nice history background from Nick. Sir Neville Marriner, AoSMitF
