Has anyone tried looking around on Google Earth?  My friend and I have been doing that.  She could even see my car in the drive!  Big Brother eh?

Yeah but the photo was taken ages ago, so they are not keeping a CLOSE eye on you  Wink

The photo of our place is about five years old going by the garden furniture and state of the front drive then.

Jonathan Agnew reporting from Lord's a short while ago -

"We've been told that there will be a chink of light around 2.30 when the rain will slacken off to a mere downpour..."

It's very depressing having to switch the lights on and put on a jumper on a July morning - washed out cricket is the final straw.

I'm afraid this is how it was where I was for the last week...

Drizzle here in Köln now though.

They get updated though - the speed bumps in our road (and a tidier garden) have appeared in the last few months.

Been squidging about in my sandals (which I ingeniously repaired with a paperclip each yesterday) all day.  Lotsa rain.  I woke up for a bit at seven and the sky was clear though actually.  But then I went back to sleep.  BLECH.

Oddly, today has been the first day all week without rain in these parts (touch wood). Our worst day was Wednesday afternoon when for about an hour the sky turned into solid water (sounds like harmonyharmony was under that, too).

I'm hoping to get to an outdoor concert at The Sage on Sunday afternoon, so I'm praying for a dry weekend  Undecided

With all this weather I am indeed looking for alternative ways to exercise.  Maybe not one of those though.  Some floorspace should suffice.  (easier said than done though!)

Lotsa rain in Brum though it's obviously worse to the south of here. Trains south of New Street severely disrupted when I was there earlier and there were lots of people standing around anxiously looking for one which was running in their direction.
