I had a dream last night but it bares my soul so blatantly and uncompromisingly ( Cry )that I cannot share it.
All the more intriguing, h-h!

I had a dream last night but it was similar to Milly's "I wouldn't dare tell anyone what I dreamt last night" dream Wink so I cannot share it!  Cheesy

WUHEY!!!!!!  Grin

I, on the other hand, fell into bed at the same time as my child at 8.30 and didn't wake up till 6.30!  Exhausted I was.  I don't remember any dreams at all (you may possibly be relieved to know Shocked) just being in a deep black hole of unconsciousness the entire time.  And very lovely it was too, especially waking up to remember that there is absolutely nothing wrong with me.  These horrid little shocks really make you appreciate it when you're ok!  Smiley

Double Fabric'ed Underpants.

An ordinary pair of underpants, with metal bands around the waist and leg hemlines.  Outward from each of these bands protrude thin bolts, with screws, washers and nuts holding an outer metal band about an inch away from the body.  The outer bands hold in place the outer underpants.

The screws are of course, adjustable - enabling the wearer to fine tune the exact amount of air gap for his or her liking.

Now all I need is a slogan, and some double fabricing salesmen.

I'm sure there was a character in the Beano or the Dandy wore something like that?

When in doubt, wash.

I'm back to the teaching dreams again!  Roll Eyes As usual I was totally unprepared for the lesson. I was going frantic trying to find paper for the class (they were supposed to be drawing something), then I realised I was an hour late taking the register...Shocked And the new term hasn't even started yet!

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

Last night I was on the run from two nasty-looking secret police types in some pre-1989 eastern European city, through the staircases and corridors of a building which, thinking about it in the morning, could only have been the Albert Hall.

You don't say which piece of yours might have been played in the said (relocated) Albert Docks immediately before you started running on that occasion, Richard - but maybe the dream recollections didn't extend that far...

I had a dream last night but it bares my soul so blatantly and uncompromisingly ( Cry )that I cannot share it.

How many others of you had dreams that are much too personal to share? What exactly am I to do with that information? I, who started this thread because I have no dreams of my own, or at least can never remember them.

It's not a rhetorical question (though it is filled with mock histrionics) -- not to be taken seriously.

What is to be taken seriously: my thanks to all of you for making rampant use of this thread.

Now, how about tips for remembering dreams? I saw a few at the beginning of the thread, but who has some more? Please nothing too elaborate (I can't hang a fishnet over my bed, for example)

Try writing it something down as soon as you awake.

I've actually remembered mine this morning.  It was an entirely useless and vaccuous dream about my finding a gorgeous pink Lacroix outfit which was too expensive and which was too big and needed much alteration, then my going away and wondering whether they would throw the jacket in as well for the price.  It was a useless outfit as well - being diaphanous and totally impractical.
I don't know why I should have clothes on my mind.  Perhaps it's because of my holiday later on.

I'm sure it's about sex, Milly. WinkWinkWink

As opposed to your, er, other dream which was probably REALLY about holiday clothing.

CD, have you tried cheese?

Really?  I thought it was about seeing some lovely clothes that didn't fit, that I couldn't afford and that were totally useless for my way of life.  Wink Wink Wink

If the last dream I posted was about clothes then I am really confused! Mainly because of the complete absence of them..... Grin Grin Grin

You see? Clothes in their very absence or lack thereof were a defining feature. Indicating in no uncertain terms the need to acquire same before your holiday.

Whereas your clothing dream. Well. Goodness me. 'Pink'? 'Vacuous'? 'Lacroix', so, 'cross'? - 'crossing' as in 'breeding' perhaps? 'Throw in a jacket as well' you say? Need I go on?  Cheesy

Well, mightn't the clothes themselves have something to do with sexual attractiveness (even if just felt to oneself from within)? WinkWink

Fear not fair Milly. On these boards we embrace diversity.

With the exception of creatures that only emerge from beneath the bridge to muddy the waters.

Now, c'mere and be embraced  Wink
