It doesn't look much like any banana I've ever seen. Bryn, I don't know how you expected anyone to identify your teleplasm. The other pictures on that site look as if the poor fellow was interrupted while shaving.
By the way, being the PSV expert around here, do you have any idea where my photo comes from. This isn't a quiz, it's just that I picked it up off a news story ages ago and have no idea now where it came from or what the story was.
"A huge hole appeared this morning in the westbound carriageway of the M4 near Swindon. The police are looking into it."

Frayed knot, Richard. You do realise that the PSV licence is long dead, don't you. These days we have PCV licences. Gone is Public Service. Now we are simply Passenger Carrying. As to the teleplasm. If it was that difficult, how come folk got so close, so soon?

No, I didn't realise that, Bryn. I had noticed, despite my long absence from the country, that "passengers" have now become "customers", presumably with the implication that the companies in question are there to take your money but not necessarily to convey you anywhere.
I seem to have turned from an Angry Young Man into a Grumpy Old Git without any intervening period of comfortable middle age.

comfortable middle age;
a) another fiction of the welfare state
b) a perk for investment brokers and currency and funds dealers
c) an illusory state of mind
But i am with you Richard, where was the middle, who nicked it?

the companies in question are there to take your money but not necessarily to convey you anywhere. I believe they are contractually obliged to take you for a ride.
