Sorry to contradict you but, to the best of my knowledge, dingos were not involved. That was a story put about by those whose best interest it served.

And as we discover how we can boost our intelligence, tap into creative powers we never knew we had, break old habits and keep our brains fit and active as we enter old age, we also face one great paradox.

Can we pause for a minute and remember those for whom yesterday was just a tasteless splurge.

And every song, every poem, every novel, every film, every picture, every situation, every overheard conversation becomes about us and is bound up this final mantra: 'it's over'.

Passengers are being made to queue for unacceptably long periods of time. On occasions members of the public have fainted because of the wait.

Pictures of Mina Loy (1882-1962) bear a striking similarity to Arthur Cravan (1887-1918).
I mention this, not to spark off any controversy (because I feel sure that, given the documentation of their independent existences, the possibility of Cravan actually being the same person as Loy is so ridiculously slim as to be impossible), but as a message in a bottle, a sort of creative 'what if' scenario. Looking at Cravan's history of hoaxes and forgeries, the idea that he may have been fictional from the off (just how hard would that have been to accomplish?) and the 'strongly anecdotal' account of Cravan's disappearance, I'm left wondering. This could be a fantastic screenplay for a film.

I would comment on that, but I don't want to kill the thread.

History is the witness that testifies to the passing of time: it Illumines Reality, vitalises memory, provides guidance in daily life and brings us Tidings of antiquity.
