I had to put my foot down about the Swiss Cheese plant though. Honestly, some people! Give them an inch and they take a mile!

The society for promoting the rescue of elephants in SELondon is finally closing . It must have been a very successful organisation, there are certainly no elephants there now... haven't been for years I believe.

Now let's see if the kangaroos can be cleared too, such a traffic hazard.

Is it 'sausages', IGI? The second one could be Cyril Conway's 'Symphony of Bangers' (1902). And the third, Carl Groebnau's 'Music for the Links' (1969) which calls for special herbal preparation - but then again it could all be about golf, I suppose.

It was George's off the cuff remark that reminded me that I had a kazoo.  I always thought when I blew I resembled a Mallard.

Of course, Daphne said I was just a decoy.

The zip wire at the playground won't seem scary now.

That's hardly enough. I would require at least 100, and of the finest quality!

The reply quoted begs the consideration whether the subject under discussion was funerary favours (a custom long since discontinued)

No, I'm not a complete idiot. I'm only a halfwit. In fact I'm actually a catfish.

L. Ron Hubbard would seem to have been proved right, then.
