Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

There comes a time in everyone's life where saying random things seems to be the most profound thing that one can do.
There is no negotiation in a world where everyone is right.

Mr.Thompson! We have cautioned you before about bringing prehistoric reptiles into the thread unannounced.

Please be good enough to leave the broccoli.

Possible naughty content warning: read small print at own risk

OS: Did you hear Jörg Haider's dead?
OS's American dinner companion: How did he die?
OS: Car crash.
OSADC: WHAT?!?!?
OS (bemused): Car crash.
OSADC: No way!
OS (suspecting his accent might be causing a problem): Yes, carrrrrr crrrrrash.
OSADC: OH....  Embarrassed I thought you said cock rash...

Things you never thought to  hear on CD Review:

Andrew Macgregor (for it is he):  ...and if you want to check out Sydney's recommendations for Shostakovich's string quatets, full details are on the CD Review website.  In the meantime I don't suppose many us know much about the choral music of Richard Trunk and indeed it has not been recorded before.  Ian Pace has been listening to a new recording and is here to share his thoughts...
