It seems much less common to see milk available in cafes these days.
That is to say, milk as a drink in its own right.

Why can't composers nowadays dress properly? I mean, an orchestra or an ensemble has just poured its collective guts out and the composer turns up in jeans and a pair of sneakers. Poor show!

It comes so hard to wipe off the excellent Tchaikovsky/Stravinsky Integrale. Hard disks need breathing space quand meme.

Unfortunately despite extensive research and the ensuing lengthy discussions, the question of crustaceans versus molluscs remained unresolved, to the great disappointment of the panel.

It's appalling how slack today's German is with his genitive prepositions.

I mean you just don`t expect that kind of response, do you? Not in this day and age.

Royal Crescent (with all due apologies to Little Humphrey and his town which, of course, is merely an eastern suburb of a certain great "Roman" city...)
Best,

Life goes on where you were yesterday when you are somewhere else today. It will go on tomorrow too, as will life where you are today when you are somewhere else tomorrow.

Vocabulary books are seen much less often in the modern language classroom.

If red wine is good for you, and white wine is not good for you, is rose ( can't find the accent!) good and bad for you?

I love me , I think I'm grand. I go to the pictures, I hold my hand. I put my arm around my waist. When I get fresh I slap my face.

But PLEASE remember to saute those shallots *slowly*! Otherwise the goats cheese goes a bit 'off' when you daub it with the pesto and tuna melted mixture, and there's no way the pine nuts will maintain their au pointe texture. And don't forget - it HAS to be beer, otherwise the horses will get frightened! But try telling that to Ron, or other denizens of the highlands!

Course it is, innit? And while were at it A, don't look at me in that tone of voice - it smells a funny colour! Baz
