Can anyone tell me what a 'sticky topic' is? and why the waffle thread is sticky?

I think, A, that means that the Waffle thread, and the Musical Connections game, have been pinned - they stay at the top of the Coffee Bar menu so that they don't slip down the list of topics.

Does the glue wear off?

On the old waffle thread at the , erhem, other place, we occasionally had little wafle breaks and let the thread slip to page 2.  If we have a similar spate of non-posting, does the thread become less sticky?  Sort of clean its hands?
