I don't know about the Sleep Fairy, but here's a pic of the Happy Fairy for you Mort.

The road and pavements were very frosty when I walked home down my road at c2205 this evening yet the cars weren't frosty at all, very odd. I was very pleased because I caught 3 buses to get back from the pub in Halesowen where I'd been for a drink with my brother and I only had to wait a few minutes for each of them - not often that happens, especially on a Sunday night! We had to direct the driver of the first bus on a detour because the road was shut due to an accident - it meant my brother got dropped at the end of his road, which saved him a bit of a walk. Cheesy

Not at all, it merely indicates that the road is colder than the cars, which is likely if the sun hasn't shone and the cars were warmed up by their engines Roll Eyes Tongue

Except that all the cars were like that, including mine which certainly hasn't been driven today. Usually you get frost on car windows long before you get it on the road surface.

Pumpkin time for me. Heaven forbid that Santa should find me awake!  Peaceful sleep and happy awakenings to all. Although the awakenings may be less peaceful for those with wee ones running around brandishing the contents of their stocking!  Sleep well. Kiss Kiss

Kids running amok? That's us lot isn't it, Madame Moderator?

Nighty-night to all, sleep well, and may Santa bring you everything you wished for! Kiss Smiley

Hmm - well I've always thought Twelfth Night was the 6th January but after seeing the discussion on here I decided everything could go by tomorrow.  I've done the living room - tree put away for next year - all the cards and decorations gone.  Hoovered, polished....all clean.  Just got the dining room tomorrow and the outside porch where I've got another lit up tree and other things.....I've been a complete traitor here and been listening to the Friday party night on our local radio station.  Dancing around all night has helped motivate me to keep going.

So pretty darn tired here!!!  Time for cuppa (caffeine doesn't keep me awake) and bed.

G'night all, sweet dreams   Kiss

martle, just watched Children of Men on TV, a very bleak vision of Britain in the future, all sorts of scary images were racing through my head and had gone till I saw your picture of the baby and it's all started again  Undecided If my missus is even slightly snoring tonight I will NEVER get to sleep  Shocked
