Buenas noches a todo. I'm in my sleeping bag on the sofa, more than ready to nod off.
Hasta manana (too tired to find the tilde) xx

The city is a process which always veers away from the form envisaged and desired, ... whose revenge upon its architects and planners undoes every dream of mastery. It is [also] one of the sites where Dasein is assigned the impossible task of putting right what can never be put right. - Rob Lapsley

Nighty night all. The wind is wuthering and the rain is hurling itself against the windows. A cosy bed seems like an excellent place to be. Bon nuit my pumpkins

We're used to coastal gales here but it's been a very long time since I've seen rain like we've had over the last 48 hours. There's been little let-up and it's absolutely bucketing down still. There were really savage lightning storms last night too and gale force winds. I've battened down the hatches and hoping for the best by way of little storm damage - Dunkirk spirit and all that. Good night all. Hope you're all safe, warm and dry and still got electricity.

What a silly day.
For a while it was threatening that I might get absolutely nothing done. Just pfaffing around doing things like looking for flights to book for trips in a couple of months but not hearing back from people about when I actually need to be where so looking at the flights was where it stayed. Then did a few internetty things and suddenly it was 5pm. Got a tiny bit of practice done and transposed a Telemann bassoon sonata for basson di chalumeau and did a little grocery shopping so I suppose that's something. Still doesn't come near to explaining where all those hours went though.
Oh well. It's tomorrow already here anyway.
Night folks...
