hh, I hope someone (your supervisor?) let you know that what are charmingly referred to as 'minor corrections' in these circumstances are absolutely par for the course, and in no way to be taken as any kind of slight. As an examiner of PhDs for the last 12 years or so, I can tell you that only TWO submissions that I have ever seen have got through without that particular proviso.
Examiners are offered a series of about 8 options, normally. They have to tick a box. The 'minor corrections' box is second down the list. (I won't tell you what the bottom box is...
