No, I'm not a complete idiot. I'm only a halfwit. In fact I'm actually a catfish.

Ah, Mr Sudden's 3002nd post!  I see that the Musical Connections thread was graced with a k-bagging occasion.

This fellow
http://www.tomposter.co.uk/
has been mentioned in connection with the tale of the Bösendorfer that - er - fell off the back of a piano delivery truck while on the way to a British festival a while ago (in fact, they had him playing an extract from Schubert's G flat Impromptu on the Radio 4 Today programme this morning as part of an item about that). NO one suggested that Tom Poster was/is an impostor, though.

There's going to be a postal strike here again soon - and for six days, apparently; see if anyone notices.

Elizabeth Poston, anyone?

I also heard this evening that Somerset County Council is more or less selling itself to IBM, with my local police farce - the AvonLady and Somerset Police - soon likely to follow suit; with this going on, can the sale of that striking organisation (in at least two senses) the Post Office be far behind? I doubt it. I also cannot afford to purchase it and probably wouldn't want to even if I could, but I do nevertheless wonder if that sale would be a case of first past the post or pass the parcel...

Nothing APostolic here, I'm afraid.

Post hoc ergo propter hoquetus...

Best (past the post),

Alessandro Topicus (sorry for bad grammar)
