I've enjoyed all the new pix, Milly, Baz, David, Ron and IGI. Oh, and Andy's too:
Yes. Lovely to log on this morning and catch up with such a lovely collection of pictures of this thread. Thank you everyone who has posted them.

If I had more time I'd love to comment on everyone's but so many threads to catch up on... oh and I probably ought to do some work today...

I like everybody's photos too. I had to smile, you all live in such beautiful places, near parks and with lovely trees. Here is bleak, barren and quite inhospitable. Mind you it does have a wild beauty of its own.

We can do wild, bleak and barren here, too, Mills, nae bother. Taken within minutes and feet of yesterday's sunset picture, here's another, but facing in the opposite direction - i.e. slightly north of east, rather than slightly south of west. The rock reef that protects the coastline hereabouts is still visible even at high water:

Ooo Ron, pink and fluffy. Candyfloss clouds. Lovely.

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

Hard to get a good picture of a youngster on the run with his first ice cream sandwich. This is the best I could do.

Note how he doesn't like sticky fingers anymore than the rest of us -- see the hand position. But then again, can't turn down an ice cream sandwich. I'm in a great mood tonight. Anyone need any favors, now is the time to ask me.
