Era solo un mio sospetto

« on: 14:25:36, 22-10-2007 »

Can someone tell me quickly in what key the alto aria in Part 2 of the Christmas Oratorio is written?

I am helping arrange a carol service.  The soloist wants to sing it.

The music director has strong views about the key sequence of the service.

It would be a help if someone could let me know.

Apologies if my German is illiterate.

I misread your title as "Schlaffen mein lobster" DB! Tongue Can't help with the key.

Nice one, Andy.  I think that would be Schlaffen  mein Hummel.

Thanks Tony.

So are 3 of the other carols they have chosen.  That'll be a poser.

It's definitely in G but perhaps the soloist could do it at Baroque pitch for a bit of variety Wink
