So here we go then. That nice "Rod" invites us to a classical site (with no strings attached), and we still think "there's nowt so queer as folk". Someone called "martle" YAWNS, and even the delightful "morticia" (possibly from the Borgias) drops her chin.

I feel the need somehow to "fit in". Sorry Rod, but all ideas are only as good as they are believed to be!

I see that someone calling themselves "Muchgoddery of Polytheism" is the most recent member of CMM, so the recruiting effort seems to have attracted at least one new first-rate, nay cutting edge, contributor.

Ena I notice the level of posts you have presented so far at this forum (7) yet you write as if you are an old campaigner here! I've only joined today and I've posted more here than you.

It interesting that this person joined soon after I made my first post here, maybe he came from this site!!

What aggressive replies... I have just looked and it seems quite interesting, I shall think about this Ron,

Thanks !!

It may make a change from all this aggro on here  Grin

Indeed there appears to be a level of pomposity and paranoia here beyond anything I have witnessed elsewhere on the web in 10 years. But one often finds the most ignorant remarks are made by those with the least to say, here is no different.

If I were you I'd jump ship, if not to my place then ANYWHERE! But I look forward to seeing you join up all the same, but make sure you don't have a silly username  Undecided

Dear Rod,

Please do consider posting to some other areas of this forum about topics musical instead of insulting its membership here.  You might even find some of us wanting to engage in colloquy with you about topics musical.

I think that's more than likely. However, Rod, if you're just going to arrive here, invite people to join another board and then profess astonishment at the level of "pomposity and paranoia" on this one, I fear you and CMM might well be given short shrift.

But what if I wanted to do that? It sounds as though moderation is enforced on your board before one even joins.  Angry

Methinks I should consider all this very carefully.

This was more a reference to certain members here than the moderation at my site, you can call yourself what you like.

I get to decide what it is I find trivial, not you.

So I am permitted to find military fantasies to be anything but trivial. Certainly those silly ranking methods were more thought-provoking for me than what I have read so far in the actual posts.

military fantasies = aggressive

Have you not read the comments from your so called membership (some of whom have posted even fewer messages here than me and I've only just joined today) in this thread?? Methinks you arrived a little too late.

There is no military fantasy, there is not one mention of anything militaristic in any of the topics, other than an WMA I posted of a Beethoven march for military band... and that was a request from a member. Get a grip please. If you don't want to join just don't join and belt up nagging, I'm tired of these diversionary excuses.

Perhaps this thread might benefit from a little of this ....? Just a thought.

I think you'll find that C Cish has postede MANY times the number of posts that you have, under a different username.  In any event this is not a postocracy.  If you feel that somebody has personally insulted you, I strongly encourage you to report this to the moderator.  I cannot find any evidence of such, however.  I look forward to conversing with you you elsewhere on this forum.
