The Gate was parked at a distance, do you see? Its lonely call could faintly be heard over the sound of the M40.

The Gate was parked at a distance, do you see? Its lonely call could faintly be heard over the sound of the M40.
... as deepest night shrouded the land, sheep shivered and owls launched on their predatory flight. All were stilled momentarily by the unearthly and melancholy hooooooooooooon that wafted over distant hills. Then a sparrow sneezed.

I've been wondering that myself. Maybe my clock's been reset so I start again from the beginning... maybe it's to give me something to aim for in life? But nothing much else has changed, A. I just have a couple more buttons to click than I used to. And I have made a Solemn Vow to use them exclusively for Good and only at the explicit Request of the People except in the event of offensive or illegal content as specified in the Moderators' Charter §33.4.1 (b).
