Here's one of my favourite hoons.

Ah, Mr Sudden,

Your cover is blown!  There I was believing you were a follower of authentic performance, and consequently believing that you were a virtuoso on the 5-bar gate.  But you clearly have overstepped the mark by a good 46 bars!

We all know that the 51-bar gate is an instrument of mere fantasy!

When did you get an extension to yours?

I'm surprised no one's mentioned any of various Hoongarian Rhapsodies that grace the repertoire.

I see that the Hoonlight Sonata appears to have been overlooked.

...sitting in a corner...

"hoon, hoon on the range..."

"Kitty! Are you trying to play the range again? I told you last week, 'Wait till the chimney's been swept.' And why can't you use the eyeliner Aunt Smorgasbord gave you. That blacklead's expensive!"
