I am sure the Hoonerable membes of this forum have all heard of the Hoongarian Rhapsody and the Hoongarian Dances.
And in the Opera House we may well have heard "Hoonsel and Gretal" and "Akhnathoon"
I can see that both of these would be a marathoon undertaking on the 5 bar gate

No, but I can fling a chain at a Paiste SGM tam-tam while scraping it with a plastic box and banging it with my fist as well as the next percussionist. Or at least well enough that the aforesaid next percussionist (who had just played some Nono in London and is about to head off to play it in Carnegie Hall) didn't seem overly embarrassed to be sharing the back of the tam-tam with me...

Huh! You wouldn't have got away with that when I were a lad. There would have been a massive demarcation dispute, with the MU blacklisting you for sure.
