what is it? It looks like some kind of a toy.
Is it the one that you throw down and it comes up back?
I doesn't look like it completely.
Now I think it is an instrument that you shake.
I like your poem BobbyZ. Where did you get it from? I am glad I have it. It is repetative and will be easy to learn.

So squelch could be a new lamguage then!!! lamguage - n. an instrument for measuring the liquid content of young sheep, especially used on their fleeces. It returns results of 'biscuit', 'wrung flannel', 'dog after a shake', and 'Phelps'. Given recent British weather, UK farmers have been pushing for the inclusion of 'squelch'. Tommo

My understanding was quite different! I thought t-p was about to journey to Glasgow in order to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower so that she could retrieve the string of her yoyo and then provide the whackiest fling of the said toy over the edge in order for it to return up the string so that it hit her upside the face. Have I misunderstood? Baz

I have a friend whose language is much worse than my. Of course to you we will both be bad, but there is a big difference in our understanding and in accent. My less knowledgable friend is teaching a woman from Mexico English language.
I never heard the lesson, but I heard my friend talk. It is really like one blind is leading the other blind. But try to tell it to them.
The good thing is that they both are housewives and are not in danger to be wacked over the head yet.
Mr Baz, I was about to order my tickets to above mentioned city, when I saw this thread. I am so glad we cleared the matter because I am not good in locating anything. I loose things even if I put them on the right place. Mr tp is called to find different things. He can remember where I put things, I don't.
So if you will send me to Glasgow to find strina I may not come back at all. Or may be she will, I will be lost for ever.
You can only imagine how good I am at getting around a new city. And if you keep repeating that Effel Tower is in Edinbrogh I am afraid I will believe it.
English language - is very complicated.

And it is at this point, dear reader, that the R3OK glossary was discovered to have passed into another dimension entirely....

Mort, I hope you realise that as it's a bank holiday weekend (except here) there's three and a half more days of this to go.

I loose things It's not a good idea to loosen the string on a yo-yo - it won't go round properly. English language - is very complicated.
It is. You have my admiration!

I suppose it is, but it certainly does not yet seem to have "gone the distance". Baz P.S. How's the yoyo coming along?

Mr Dr Baz, I am worried that Ron Dough is changing his ink colour. He reminds me my first grade teacher. She used red ink while correcting our papers. I think if he will change to green or purple we will be in real trouble.
I better move to you You thread. Sorry Mr Dr Ron Dogh.
