Hopefully moving to new digs tomorrow that lacks web access ( something I wanted ) so will not be posting much, though do have web access at work.  May post a bit more at christmas but unsure, maybe visiting the lakes district or even wales with friends on motorhomes, but depends on weather etc.

Anyways, just to say, will try be around, but will not be around so much.

no, flatmate is selling up, so have to move, found somewhere not as nice Sad and is a bit more like a flat but just a big room, with some shared facilities, will have to organise some socialising with others there, etc.

Will be strange, never lived 'alone' before, very very scary idea, i do have friends local, who i can go out with, for drinks though.

Have to be honest though, going around looking at digs and meeting long term bachelors,  looks a bit sad to me, i have enjoyed these bachelor years but I think I really need to try settling down.  Hanging around with 'odd' bachelors and divorced guys in this sub culture is a bit strange to me.

Know what you mean Lord B, I had that for about six years when I moved down to England, and before that four years in Uni digs and student houses; never actually lived on my own.

And then thankfully met someone (my missus) to rescue me and I believe she paid the deposit on the house  Cheesy heh it was only a thousand pounds deposit, long time ago.

Hope you ge settled soon, and get some friends round.

Yea, am intending to organise a few events with new 'kind of block of flats' mates and see people after work, in the week to reduce the solitude and stuff.  Fighting becoming a 'lonely old man' is becoming a bit of a full time job.

Only time will tell, how things play out, could be bachelor boy, could be 'instant family man', could be janine ringing me from heathrow and saying 'i sooo need a drink !', lol, who knows !

Life, a box of choccies.

Ho Lord B.  Best wishes for the future and hope matters settle to your real satisfaction.  I've always regarded you as being "permanent" so, please, do keep posting here as often as you can.
Cheers

What rotten news LB. However, it may be a blessing in disguise. At the very least it`s inconsiderate behaviour to cancel such an arrangement at the eleventh hour. It sounds as though you may be better off not sharing with these people.

I hope you get good news about the flat upstairs. Just think what you`ll save on moving expenses! Smiley Fingers crossed.

Now, now, Bachelor Boy! It is no time to be lusting after the luscious lady when your digs have dropped.

The first time I scanned that, I read 'flock of cats'.
