Anyone else like raw Cauliflower?  It tastes totally different to cooked stuff and is most odd..

Gorgeous - best in small bits I find since it's strangely spicy when raw.

(Actually, best of all dipped in a really frappe-cul aļoli. Cool)

Ooo yes. I'm a raw cauliflower fan. In fact I think I prefer it to cooked. It has a distinct, almost peppery kick to it. And it's deliciously crunchy. NOM.

Maybe this is something I should try, as I don't really like it cooked.

I'm [probably] doing a detox thing this week, so I shall be living as a vegan diabetic coeliac [sp?] for a while.  Lunch is raw veg and hummous.

I always feel kind of glowy at the start of a detox.  And then like sh**.   Cheesy

Just don't overdo the raw cauliflower (or broccoli, come to that) since such plants contain goitrogens which can inhibit thyroid activity. Apparently, a short period of parboiling de-activates the goitrogens.
