When in doubt, wash.

(excuses for carp photo, it was taken with my phone since I always forget to take a proper camera when I go out)
Nice pic Richard, not carp at all. I've seen far worse taken on a phone just a couple of days ago...(sorry Andy! Cheesy )

This is my Roman soldier snow torso I did last time we had proper snow, I seem to have mislaid my naked buxom snow woman for the time being (don't you just hate it when that happens??)

Cheers richard!!  Oh you mean the torso posted, and not mine!    Sulk  Cheesy

It requires gloves to smooth the snow into ice you can mould, I will attempt to find the naked maiden, although she had the light behind her, she was curvaceous and quite lovely and
there was a pig garnsihed with, Rosemary, mention a loin, and she is anybodys for rememberance!!

Arff Afff.  It's the way I tell them.

Don't know what you're referring to MJ Tongue

Meanwhile, on topic, it was snowing when I came home not long ago.

Beautiful day.  Sunny and bright.  The heating is off and the windows are open.  I shan't put the heating back on till the child comes home after Chess Club at 4.30, when the temperature starts to drop.  When he's at school, I often have the heating off during the day because I'm working in the house and don't feel the cold so much.  If it is really cold, it's on 24/7.  Lovely day to hang out the washing too.

I finally caved in and switched the downstairs heating on the other day. I realised that the cats were curled up together, something they don't normally do, to keep warm. I felt like Cruella de Ville and immediately put the heating on.

I don't have central heating and it's quite hard to get Pixie to come into the room I'm in when I'm heating it since the door is, of course, shut. I think she enjoyed her extended weekend holiday since she spent most of the time curled up underneath a radiator!

It's not particularly cold here at the moment, though it's very grey and damp.

My heating is off.  Quite mild here at the moment.  As soon as it's cold though it's straight back on!!!

It's not cold here either - in fact it's really quite mild.  Know what you mean about grey and damp though.

We've had some pretty extreme weather here today.  Electrical storms, gale force winds, blizzards.  It's been very severe.  The teenager has just taken a rather reluctant dog out as it seems to have briefly stopped monsooning.  Rather them than me!  He's nursing a hangover and a half today so maybe the fresh air will do him good.  The dog didn't want to leave his cosy spot on the sofa.
