OK, I'll start you off....

If Il Grand Inquisitor married Lucia Popp, would he become IGI Popp?

If Holst's dad's surname was really 'Wind' would we have been blown away by The Planets?

If Bach had named one of his daughters 'Ann Alias' would there have been great parties upon each school roll call, surname first?

If Erik Satie had met Miss Graha, would Philip Glass have been their love child?

Pray silence please, for the arrival of the celebrated Russian composer Reinhold Gliere, and his son who has made a big success in the confectionery trade, Chocolate E.

By the way, all the talk at this reception is about the condutor Jan Chulopecky, due to record Janacek's opera OSUD, but left waiting without either the score or his fee-advance.  He was finally reasssured by phone, "Jan A Cheque's In The Post".

And have you seen the rave reviews of the new lightly air-whipped Ski yoghurts?  They're on mousse.org/ski

I'll get me Coates.

Here comes Fritz Kreisler and his honoured car mechanic wife, Dame la Kreisler.

She's pink! She's Greek! And there's something fishy about her. Yes, it's the daughter of the most unlikely of musical pairings, Tara Mahler-Sinatra.

Oh, and what's that sheet music she's got under her arm... in viola-da-gamba tablature?  My word, it's a copy of Capt Tobias Hume's "Musical Humous"...
