Ho Rob.  My wife and all her relations drink tea - some of them to excess.  I can't stand it, not even the smell of it, so I'm a coffee man.  I suspect I must be missing something but don't really know what.
Cheers

I think tea is going out of fashion, though I'd find it hard to live without it. The under-40s don't drink it much, do they? They drink coffee or wine or revolting things like Coke. I always feel like an old fogey if I ask for tea.

Mary, I am an old fogey.  There are those that believe I am 109.

I bet noone drins coffee with lemon like me, and I put honey in it (this is for the winter).
Although this can not compete with some other staff.

Perhaps that is why I have taken to drinking more of it lately, and less coffee. :-) Waitrose EarlGrey - that's proper Earl Grey, made from black China tea and just a hint of bergamot oil. Can't stand the stuff put out as Earl Grey by the other Supermarkets, Twinings, etc. Some even use Ceylon tea, which is totally out of order.

Pleine Lune from Mariage Frères. Wondrous stuff.

As is their Thé aux Impressionistes. Green tea with vanilla. Lovely.

I'm glad somebody has had a good day.  Mine has been really boring.  Waiting for repair men, paying them, ironing, cleaning and shopping.

Never mind, tonight is Bridge night so I might be a little bit richer tomorrow!

P.S. I drink more tea than anything else at all.  Can't start the day without at least 2 mugs...Tetleys, with milk, no sugar.

If your repair men turned up, Milly, I'm quite jealous. A painter/decorator was supposed to be here at 5.30 - 6 to give a quote for my cloakroom/downstairs loo. Not a sign.

I'm glad there are all these tea-drinkers!

Rob, I fail to understand why you have to be "in a right mood"  Huh  Do you mean when you feel like kicking the cat and snarling at the world you make a cuppa  Cheesy

I like green tea but ordinary tea, like S'wave said, I can't stand the smell either.

Ho All,
I must confess to being a former tea addict.  I used to drink anywhere between 10 and 15 cups a day.  God knows how I had the time!  I'm now down to 3 - 6 cups a day so that's much more reasonable.

Right, time for the 4th one of the day! Cool
