When you're in a good mood and liable to laugh at funny posts, try to avoid having a mouthful of beer tea when reading them.  Embarrassed

Don't follow a donut breakfast with a pizza-and-donut lunch. That can cause severe doldrums!

Edit: Also!
Appreciate poetry. Make fun of other peoples' spelling errors. Be a pedant. Go ahead!

When in doubt, wash.

Don't look at your watch when you're holding an open pot of paint in that hand...  Roll Eyes

I have my darkest suspicions that the person who asked me the time knew what would happen!

I could have posted this on the Embarrassing Moments thread I suppose but it was more hysterically funny than embarrassing!

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

Never place a piece of paper with the word "urgent" on it into a photocopier or scanner - this word causes the machinery to malfunction and the "call technician" red light to come on.

Annoying warning lights on the dashboard of your car can be covered-over with black insulation tape to stop them bothering you while driving.  You can look into them later when you've stopped and turned the engine off safely.

Never assume that because it's a short journey you can wait to use the bathroom when you get home.  Other traffic is subconsciously drawn to such thoughts and liable to stop.

Always take an umbrella if sunshine is forecast.

Well, it is a device developed to protect one from the sun's rays, after all.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, plant Dahlias (slug and snail delicacy) near Euphorbia (slug and snail hidey place).
