Indeed!
I'm just happy as I've just played the piano for 1 and a half hours and we finished a bottle of red wine!

I am happy because clarinet student I played with (and we thought that he failed) got distinction. I am happy because the program was difficult and I am still learning new pieces.
Great news - all that work on the Blasted Duo (as I shall always think of it!) paid off!!!

Happy, happy, happy. I won at Bridge tonight and driving home listened to Pierre Boulez. Fabulous piece, very challenging and beautifully played I thought. Just got back from taking the dog for his late-night constitutional and there was a beautiful full harvest moon. Mmmmm.

Very fetching, Jan! Does retail therapy really work? I loathe going anywhere near shops. Avoid it at all costs. And it can't just be because I'm a bloke, since many men I know rather enjoy it...

I think it probably is a girl thing....although I'm not a girl who shops much as a rule, it does cheer me up when I get a bargain !

I think it probably is a girl thing....although I'm not a girl who shops much as a rule, it does cheer me up when I get a bargain ! Be careful - the whole strategy is to induce a sense of euphoria by giving the impression that you've got a bargain..... 'Retail therapy' - one of the most insidious concepts ever devised. Or perhaps even more worrying is the notion that it is the consumer, rather than the retailer, who is pulling the strings....

I don't really mind how I get the euphoria, as long as I do !
