Today I bought two pairs of shoes (it's amazing how many companies seem to think that people with feet the size of mine don't exist, or don't buy shoes), a pair of jeans, five t-shirts, two jackets, a waistcoat, a new satchel and a smart coat.
My mum once said that I tend to do an entire year's worth of clothes shopping on a single day.

This was partly to make me feel better because having hauled myself out of bed and across town for my flat viewing, the agent rang me just as I got there (which was 15 minutes early - I wanted to wander around the area) to say that there had been a 'problem' and that he'd have to move our appointment to 5pm on Monday. On the outside it looks a bit unpromising (rather like a shop front) but a wander around suggests that it has access to the garden and there may be sunlight from that side. Also, it's less the 5 minutes walk from the bus stop.
We shall see.

And I'm mating my external hard-drives together now...
Well...
OK. I'm transferring data across from one to the other so that I have one devoted to making recordings, and the other to storing my music library.
I would have thought that I'd want to back up my whole computer while I could... but that's a job for another day.

My friend just left. He was installing iPod.
Even with his brain it was not easy. And he could not do it completely.

Before this (or during friend's stay here) I had my two ADD students.

Now I am ready to explode.
Sorry, it is a Happy Room. I did not notice.
Now I have to end on a happy note. The good thing I have a strong headache yet.
Why did they remove that delete button?

Well I'm pretty happy today, which is unusual for recent times!
I've done all that shopping, sorted out some of my hard-drive issues, made a start (though not terribly successfully) at flat hunting, and I've started creating a font for clarinet fingerings (though for the piece that I will finally get around to writing for Ollie, I may even use a form of tablature (but I'll have to talk to him first  Wink) but I want to buy my own A clarinet before I do very much more than analyse the fingering charts he's provided for me).
I really must get my Bb clarinet sorted out fairly damn quickly because I'm playing it in public at the end of the month...

That is really a good news. I am very pleased. My headache is much better now.
It is good to know at least how to play it a little. I am so impressed.

Thank you, harmony/harmony. I really appreciate good news.

And I'm 99 posts (oh, it's 98 now) away from my third K.
How can life get any more exciting?

My mum once said that I tend to do an entire year's worth of clothes shopping on a single day.
I'm a bit like that, although I also like to make things last as long as possible and get as much wear out of them as I can.

I don't think I've bought any clothes this year.

Well that would be nice but I should make a dent in the work left to do on the solo horn piece first...

But before all that there is dinner.
