Yes, very good it was to Milly! I played that at band a few years ago.  They played it by a jazz orchestra! Good fun though, I thought.

This is a film of water, it is a beach - near the sea. It makes me happy.

It is also a good book.

Thank you for the clip, A.
It made me happy. Happy memories of childhood summers, sounds of the sea.

Morning happy people!  I've just found out I'm getting a special bonus for something I worked on a few months ago, which was a lovely surprise and very welcome in the current financial climate where I'm perilously close to going over the bottom of my overdraft every month.  It's not that much, but it's a nice lift - as is the sunshine.  Smiley

Well done Rubes. You were rather busy recently at work?

Thanks both!   Smiley

Yeah BBM, I was busy recently and I thought it might have been to do with that because I got a shower of "thank you"s copied to my manager, but it wasn't, it was about something I was working on back in June/July that was a bit of a "challenge" shall we say? Ie a right royal pain in the ****.  Cheesy

It's nice to have the odd pat-yourself-on-the-back day isn't it?  Smiley

Certainly is.  I must admit I'm glad it's pay day today for me, it always comes through on the 25th of the month.  Mine never alters except in January when I receive a rise in line with inflation.  Everything is getting so much more expensive these days.  Roll Eyes

Tell me about it.  Our pay rise is still being debated by the unions and it's likely to amount to about 2% or less, which isn't anywhere near the increase in cost of living, so it's still effectively a pay cut.  Joy.

A small moment of food related happiness for me today Smiley A patient's mother brings in homemade soup for her son every day. They always smell fabulous. I was discretely drooling over the wonderful wafts from today's offering. Well, maybe not as discretely as I thought  Roll Eyes because she handed me a spoon and told me to try some. It was absolutely gorgeous! Just the best chicken noodle soup I have ever tasted, with the fragrance and taste of coriander running through it. Totally NOM! I was the subject of much soup envy from the nurses! Wink
