Well, TF, when I saw the title I thought the producers of the Proms TV broadcast had decided to show a bit of compassion and adopt a presentational style that didn't make me cringe quite so much.  In fact, though, I had been duped by the lower-case 'r' and it is, in fact, about our Ruth (sister of famous soprano Kiri A Elleson).  As the clip shows Ruth & Mark did adopt a considerably less cringeworthy style than many of the regular presenters; but they weren't on for long so I expect it will be business as usual next year and I'll stick to Radio 3 once again.
