I saw a woman walking down the street this morning with a VERY short black miniskirt, an expanse of stocking-clad thigh, and very high black boots. She was at some distance from me, and standing sideways on (this becomes important later ), and obviously stood out because her clothing seemed singularly inappropriate for a damp Wednesday morning.

After a second or two, she turned partly so I could see her far leg. To my surprise, that leg was clad in a full-length black trouser leg!

My mind grappled with this for several seconds, trying to understand why (I hadn't even got as far as how ) somebody would wear a miniskirt on one leg and trousers on the other.

As she turned full on to me, it became obvious that she was wearing normal black trousers and carrying a low-slung, tan-coloured shoulder bag that hung at the level of her thigh... 


Oh well, it's been making me smile for the last half hour. Maybe I'm just easily amused
