The Pool of Tears
“You ought to be ashamed of yourself,” said Alice, “a great girl  like you,”  (she might well say this) “to go on crying in this way! Stop this moment, I tell you!” But she went on all the same, shedding gallons of tears, until there was a large pool all around her, about four inches deep and reaching half down the hall.

Just 25 minutes to get to the Festival Theatre...
Time to leave the remains of my dinner where it falls and run to a cash point.

When I was younger, I really hated being late for things - I seem more relaxed these days but i still don't like to be too late as i hate being kept waiting myself!
My girlfriend freely admits to always being late but appears to have modified her behaviour of late and is doing really well!

You must be very proud of her.

This is another thread I seem not to have spotted before, even though I'm one of the candidates. Shocked

The city is a process which always veers away from the form envisaged and desired, ... whose revenge upon its architects and planners undoes every dream of mastery. It is [also] one of the sites where Dasein is assigned the impossible task of putting right what can never be put right. - Rob Lapsley
