I am not late. I will have to go to the supermarket after I get ready. I have plans to see my friend today. I am planning to go to see her after lunch. She had a little cold yesterday. I hope she is better.
We have lots to talk about. She likes to see different designs of rooms. She has lots of magazines. I will look with her and we discuss what we like. She loves that.
She will show me new things she bought (one in charity shop). She already told me she is going to show me something. She said her daughter took a very expensive sweater she found in charity shop, so I will not see that.
I don't know what else we will discuss. It all depends on how much time we have and the mood. She likes to tell me stories from her past and I tell her my stories. We used to be three friends (with Greek friend), but now we are two and there is another Russian girl and there are two mexican ladies.
I am looking forward to seeing her. Yesterday we already talked on the phone for about half an hour so that we will not waste time today.
I already practiced for an hour (between 8 and 9) and I should play for two more. (or may be one).

'I wonder if I've been changed in the night? Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is 'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!'

A, The most important thing is are you late?
I am not late.
I am back from the shop now and I got myself two lilac colour tops. They have Italian designed cloths on Sale now. One is in lighter colour and is from cotton, the other is warmer (sort of like a light sweater) and is in deep colour.
Now I have a few things to do.
Are you late, A?

I'm running very late today.  I overslept quite impressively and woke up at 8.15.

Thank heavens for flexible working hours.  Which I suppose begs the question of whether there is such a thing as "late" in such an environment...

I am a very punctual person, in fact I have a fear of being late for work, appointments, etc., which means I always arrive early.  I have three alarms for the morning (Monday to Friday), a clock and my mobile which is set for two different times 15 minutes apart just in case the other two fail

Generally I'm quite like that and as a result spend many a boring half hour waiting for trains on cold platforms, quietly kicking myself because of the extra time I could have spent in bed.  Even if I know I'm 5 minutes away from the station with 40 minutes to spare I find it really hard not to overtake people and/or speed. It's very silly really.  Smiley

On the plus side I've only missed trains for work appts twice.  Once because my cam belt went on the A46 (ouch) and once because I arrived at the station and realised I'd shut my bank card in my laptop after some internet shopping.  The laptop unfortunately was sat smugly at home.  Embarrassed

Rubby2,
I had the same experience many times in my life. I am usually early. I am also worried to be late.
I can understand Anthiel.
