If I'm perfectly honest, none of the meat posts so far has made me think 'yummy'. I've never had fois gras and, while I don't want to alter anyone else's eating habits, I intend never to eat it either. And why do you want to ruin your steak by putting all that sauce on it? Isn't it a good steak? And what is that blubbery fatty hunk of ick on your plate Martle? (and don't talk to me about the papier mache cauliflower in the background).

Ian,
Please keep your meat off this thread. I can't be sure it's Kosher.

Is that a rejection? OK, no more meat (I didn't see your message before the rabbit went up)

This is just food porn, pure and simple! And, Martle, yes, I think the papparazzi pizza did "repeat" on me... [groan, pass Tommo's chiken tikka box] I rather like this: "They found Nemo"

"They found Nemo"
Nice. I like it. I also like sushi, though I'm not so keen on tuna - it seems to have a texture something like cotton wool when it's raw. That didn't stop me eating far too much on Saturday night (and it was very tasty). I feel in one of my 'annoy a vegetarian' moods:
Oh! It was veal. Was it rosé veal? I went on tour in Salzburg in 1998 and we were offered a menu that included veal with morels. When someone asked what morels were, I replied 'they're what stop you eating the veal!' b'dm ch.

I feel the same about white veal as I do about foie gras.
