Cheer up A. I'm your friend amongst many others as well. Any road oop I'm off out now to watch the Verdi Requiem with Amanda Roocroft, Jeffrey Lloyd-Roberts, Jane Irwin and Wyn Pencarreg with the Northern Chamber Orchestra at the Grand Theatre in Blackpool. It's the centenary concert of our local Choral Society and my own dear old mum will be singing her heart out in the alto section. Nothing to be grumpy about so perhaps I'm on the wrong thread, but just wanted to add a bit of moral support. Different nationalities have different senses of humour I find. We British are famous for being able to laugh at ourselves, but in different parts of the world it differs.  |

In a situation like this forum we all have to make a litle space for each other, and that means occasionally putting up with foibles that we find annoying, but I do often think it would be awfully nice of t-p to try to post only when she actually has something to say, just like everyone else.
