A, t-p was talking about her local music association, not this messageboard! Smiley

I understood that t_is_n - it is just what she is talking about that I wonder ...I meet lots people to but contact I keep many with  so if understand me they do it pleases me.

A

I'm fed up! So much so that from now on I shall assume that anybody who does not use actual English will simply be uttering words that have no actual meaning whatsoever.

YOu people are poor lot. Your language is too popular. Everybody is trying to speak it. There are so many accent like stars in the sky. There are native accents, foreign accents. Because your economy is good everybody comes here. And what is even worse they even try to write in your language. That is really upssetting.
I understand you 100%.
The long suffering English speaking people have to descipher everything a poor foreigner is trying to say will break anybody's patience.

From now on the rule are:
1. If you don't know how to spell it, don't use the word.
2. If you are upset don't use the board
3. Check your speller and consult English speaking people before posting on the board (that may include students because they are very good at English.
4. What are other rules

Sorry I upset so many of you, but I really did not mean it.

t-p, you certainly never upset me. Your use of English isn't perfect, but it's perfectly understandable most of the time. More importantly, what you actually say is worthwhile. Please don't change and please don't stop posting.  Smiley

You didn't upset me either - I always find your postings to be well written and easy to understand and also very interesting and informative.

Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely. How many of us (with the exception of Reiner) can speak Russian on anything like the level that t-p can speak (and write) English? And, even if we were based in Russia, and posting on some Russian internet messageboard, don't you think we would make plenty of mistakes (but the fact of doing so would in itself be good practice)?

And, like others, I find your posts always fresh, intelligent, imaginative and stimulating. Don't hold back from them!
