I lost a bag on the train home yesterday evening. Sad

People do lose things when they're travelling by train:

Poor man. I only lost three old records and a book yesterday evening but I do hope that I'll get them back. I just wrote a message to the railway company.

On hold for Apple tech support at the moment.

I bought my iPod from Amazon.co.uk under two years ago.  I think UK law allows for several years of company responsibility for the products they sell.  Could someone clarify this? Given how much I spent on the iPod to begin with, I'd really rather not fork out on another one right now.

Just got through to someone, thought I'd bring up my laptop first.  On hold again.

urggh...they were all, like, 'take it to your local supply centre, which is quite far away from you, and only open during the hours when you're working', and I was all, like "bugger. okay.  I'll call them up then".

also: ill-conceived logo of the week?

My laptop is working at the speed of an elephant wading though a deep river of Golden Syrup.

So does mine.  And the dampers need work.   Sad

I would think that the present weather conditions wont help pianos at all, as far as tuning is concerned. Whereas, with  brass instruments, we dont have that prob!!!

I am grumpy because it's Saturday and therefore Dr. Who but I fear this latest series is a turkey with Catherine Tate as his assistant - who on earth cast her?  In fact, usually I would be glued to it but I don't know if I can be bovvered.   Cheesy  Bring back Rose!!

There was that brief snippet of Rose in the first episode, though; "that bin there!"

As does mine - think I'll wait until i have another job before paying out £50 to have it done though!

Anty, I find Catherine Tate surprisingly un-annoying as an assistant.  I wasn't happy when they said she was going to be in it but found her better than I'd expected.   Smiley

Jonathan,  I have to say I find Catherine Tate extremely annoying as she keeps morphing into characters from her Show.  However, I expect I will still watch!

Rose will make a return!!!
