r,
Magnificent.
Pearls before swine, sadly. (Though I'll bet her school never explained that to her either.)

Hmmm. Do you think she's related to Wodger? I detect a certain lack of comprehension of the bleedin' obvious which feels strangely familiar ...

Ah, thanks, John! It's very similar to this one: therefore I won't bother importing additional ones

I confess I've ne'er heard the word micturator in my life, and resolve to use it at least once before my death. Just not sure when yet.

Do the words, "Oh freddled gruntbuggly, thy micturations are to me as plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee" mean nothing to you? Not even Paul Neil Milne Johnstone could compete with poetry like that!

Ok, I admit that I googled it but I wasn't expecting the result. It's Douglas Adams Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Why has my brain failed to retain those words? They're hardly unmemorable! Sigh. Just put me down now.
Ah, just seen your post GG.

En passant, it's the reason we have the euphemisms 'taking the Mick, Micky and Michael" - the first syllable of 'micturation' replacing a couple of the more vernacular words for urine.....
