My mother's 65th birthday is fast approaching. Where will you be in August 2010, hh? Just curious.

With your talent for cooking and organizational skills you are in better position to do things for your family.

In my experience it is always like this: one does most of organizing. But people go through stages. Now your sister may not enought money, may be your brothers ocupied with something.
May be you have time now. But later may be they will find more time.

Best wishes to your mother. 65 is such a special birthday.
One should appreciate one's parents (from trivia).

I am grumpy because I have a rehearsal tonight from 8 to 10 in town and I am tired. They had a rehearsal last night too because the condactress (is there such word) is leaving until next week. The time of performance is near. The choir is not ready. I did not meet soloists yet. There are is letter duet from Figaro, something from Cosi and I don't know what else the soloists will through.

P.S.

I don't think I will make it to 65. Is it the right way to think?
Probably no.

I had a simiar situation, t-p! We had this guitar player and his combo doing this concert with us. There seem to be endless problems with his guitar etc. In the end we only had one rehearsal with which was'nt the best of circumstances. Anyways, in the end the conceetr was a sucess, so that was alright in the end, thank goodness!!

I'm optimistic that I'll be able to get to see this tonight, though I haven't phoned ahead to see if they've got tickets...
Living dangerously... I should stay in and work anyway but it's been a frustrating day.

I didn't get to see it. By the time I'd finished eating I realised that I had less time than was ideal to get to the theatre and added to the risk of not getting a seat, I decided it wasn't worth it. I spent the next two hours on the phone to my siblings trying to organise them. We now almost know what everyone's bringing for food except middle brother has opted for 'something savoury: I'll tell you on Friday', which means that I'm going to have to improvise a little when I'm down there... I have also organised his visit to our Durham house in order that they can tessellate their travel plans with those of my dad and me. I am now exhausted, and still haven't done the work that I need to do...

[sigh]

And I've run out of orange squash Sad
Time to go to the shops. Again.

Positive thinking t-p. If you think all is doom and gloom it probably will be so... look on the bright side of things... enjoy life!!!!!!

Well I'm always threatening it, but haven't quite ever made it there.
I'm sure I could make it as an apprentice prat-faller for a time at least. Then graduate to custard pies (home made of course).

tp, Chamomile tea is very calming and helpful if you can't sleep.

Seconded: so, incidentally, is nettle tea. A tablespoon of honey in a hot bath is a very good relaxant, too, even more so if you have sore or aching muscles. (A world class ballerina taught me that one.)

1.My nerves are not good after I was not well.

2. I have two project going at the same time
3. Friend is visiting and I am trying to show him around
4. I understood what is wrong with my muscles tonight at the rehearsal.
A woman in a choir told me that it is arthritis (form of arthritis).

I could not understand what was wrong with me and now I know.
I am frightened.
I have hot water now to drink. It helps too. I hope after two night I will sleep.

The good think that there is no more rehearsals for a while in project no 1.

I have to buy chamomile tea and nettle tea tomorrow the first thing.

Thank you so much for your posts Ron Dough and Morticia

I found out it is not more fun to be rehearsal pianist than ballet accompanist. I will pass both things if they offer me this again.

tp, I am sure that your friend in the choir meant well, but she is not a doctor. I would suggest consulting your GP about your muscular problems. Better to consult a professional on these matters. After all, you wouldn't consult a plumber if you had a problem with your piano, would you? I hope life gets better for you very soon.
