I'm suffering from a distinct inertia when it comes to veering towards the kitchen.

Woke up with serious munchies today. Having eaten my usual breakfast, I was still hungry...
Seem to have a fixation with Indian breadstuffs at the moment, because it's a peshwari nan with which I am stuffing my face at the moment.

I woke up with a serious migraine.  I looked briefly at some croissants and thought better of it.  My breakfast has been an injection, 3 mugs of tea and 2 soluble disprins.  The pain had subsided by the time I got back from the school run but I certainly don't feel like eating.  Sad

I think I'm going to regret this much sugar so early in the morning...

Thanks Ruby.  I'm ok now, if a little spaced-out.  I'm going back to bed until it's time to get up again for the school run at 3.  I'll have to sleep it all off.  I've only got household chores to do today and they can wait.

Have a nice day.  Wink

Can I offer you a sugar snap pea?  Or perhaps a carrot?  I'm kind of bored of them.  Sad

Steak, chips and cabbage.
Pint of Deuchars.
It's one of those evenings.

What are you having for pudding, hh?

Sticky Toffee Pudding with extra syrup, 100s and 1000s, topped off with Meringue? (and added sugar?)

Boke.

On that subject, a Norwegian colleague of mine was describing what a whale steak tastes like today.
I'm glad that I had already finished eating.
The idea of a steak that has the texture of liver, and the flavour of a cross between steak and liver somehow doesn't make sense to me.
He went on to talk about whale sashimi and whale sausages...
