Not to worry Evan. Cake is good. You're not over the hill until you get your first Zimmer frame.

You're not over the hill until you get your first Zimmer frame.

But that's a pleasure yet to come.

In the meantime, Happy Birthday Evan

Happy Birthday Evan!  They say that 70 is today's 50, that 50 is today's 30 and so obviously 40 means that you're 20 really.   Grin

(The maths doesn't really hold up though if you're actually 20... Undecided)

and it's Happy Birthday to Evan Johnson !

thanks autoharp.  27 is basically 30, which is basically 40, which is basically dotage.  My life is over.

Indeed.  Just wait, friend -- it gets worse.

I'm enjoying having a little time to reminisce about all the many things you & I have gone through over the years .... school, job applications (and more job applications (and more job applications)), new pieces, introducing each other to new music, various travels, relationships (well, one for you and 85 failed ones for me), moves to new cities, arguments about Bruckner, "ears like old boots," ....

It's been great having you as a friend these last five or so years.  Happy Birthday!!!

Just happened to notice that, according to the Guardian, today is Roger Wright's 51st.

I am sure that board members would want to pass on appropriate greetings ....

Oooh you are all awful.

I'm going to be Teacher's Pet and wish Mr Wright a very happy birthday and also best wishes to Maxim Vengerov for an early recovery of his shoulder injury.
