I hope it is not too early to anticipate a Happy Birthday for perfect wagnerite tomorrow.

No doubt, he has been expecting the following all week, but somebody has to do it:

Happy Birthday, PW!!

How about a slap-up birthday lunch, followed by a bracing Downs walk? It's clear, chill and sunny here today!

Although a walk in the Sussex countryside sounds a wonderful idea, I fervently hope that the forthcoming year brings you many more ups than Downs, PW!

Many Happies!

Many, many thanks for all the birthday greetings.

Having a great day so far - teenage daughter cooked breakfast and we're all off out for a meal this evening - and it is a really gorgeous bright cloudless day here so a bracing walk on the Downs could well be on the cards for this afternoon.
