Well, my usual early bedtime beckons, but before I go, a Very Happy Birthday to David Underdown. (10 February is St Scholastica's Day, sister of St Benedict: anniversary of major town/gown riots in Oxford in the 1100s for which the City of Oxford was still apologizing to the University in the eighteenth century.)

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

Plans for the day were slightly messed up by SWMBO having a horrible cough, which we didn't want to inflict on the other patrons of Barbican, but other than that, a good day.
